As I was driving back roads from Arthur to Decatur in Illinois, I stumbled across this structure. It was technically located in Dora, IL. As you can see from the third picture it was on Sefton Rd- strictly farm land. As you can see, any engraving or lettering has been completely worn off. From historical marker websites, I am leaning towards that this was a part of Thomas Lincoln's property (the closest Lincoln story I could find for the area). I would have gotten out of my car and explored the area more, but it was a bone-chilling -1 F. I will update this post if I drive past it again at a warmer time.
